Tap/Jazz/Ballet (TJB) I: (Grades 1&2)
This class is meant for dancers who are in 1st and 2nd grades. Dancers will participate in a structured ballet, jazz, and tap class. Students will gain new dance vocabulary (plie, tendu, degage, grande jete, pivot, jazz square, shuffle, flap, etc), and begin to do barre, center, and across the floor work. The class will be focused on posture, strength and moving in a technical, safe way. It is a fun, high energy class that prepares students for our TJB II or paraprofessional program.
Tap/Jazz/Ballet (TJB) II: (Grades 2&3)
This class is meant for dancers who are in 2nd and 3rd grades. Students will gain more dance vocabulary in tap, jazz, and ballet. The class will continue to focus on posture, strength, and moving in a technical, safe way. It is a fun, high energy class that prepares students for our pre-teen or paraprofessional program.
Hip-Hop I: (Grades 1-4)
During this class dancers will explore the intricate rhythms and sharp movements of hip-hop. The class will begin with a basic body warm-up and will be followed by across the floor patterns. The class will finish each week by learning a new piece of choreography. This class is fun, high-energy, and a fantastic way to exercise.
