The Extravaganza

What is the Extravaganza: The Extravaganza is a two day educational event in March for students in our pre-professional program, known as the Exhale Dance Youth Intensive (EDYI). The experience begins on a Friday evening with students participating in a master class with a guest artist. The following day the students perform solos, small groups and large group/production numbers before the guest artist we are hosting. This guest artist records positive live feedback for the dancers to listen to with the EDYI staff the week after the show. The process builds strength, confidence, accountability and knowledge in a warm, nurturing setting. Following the performance the dancers and audience participate in a Q&A with the guest teacher to ask them questions about dance, life and everything in between!

Who can attend the EDYI Showcase? Anyone who is a connoisseur of or simply loves watching dance! This is an educational performance event that gives the audience and dancers a chance to learn more about their art form.

Dancers in our community that are not part of EDYI are welcome to attend the master class and should email edc@exhaledance.com to register.
