The Extravaganza

What is the Extravaganza: The Extravaganza is a two day educational event in October for students in our pre-professional program, known as the Exhale Dance Company. The experience begins on a Friday evening with students performing solos, small groups and large group/production numbers before a master teacher/speaker. This guest artist records positive live feedback for the dancers to listen to with the EDC staff the week after the show. The process builds strength, confidence, accountability and knowledge in a warm, nurturing setting. Following the performance the dancers and audience participate in a Q&A with the guest teacher to ask them questions about dance, life and everything in between! The following day the EDC dancers are able to participate in a master class series with the guest speaker and another guest artist.

Who can attend the EDC Showcase? Anyone who is a connoisseur of or simply loves watching dance! This is an educational performance event that gives the audience and dancers a chance to learn more about their art form.
